The Drop Inn is a fully licensed doggy daycare indoor creche, it all started with Helen noticing that many of our grooming customers were feeling guilty of sometimes having to leave their dog home for long hours due to work commitments or a change in the owner's circumstances. Noticing this guilt Helen embarked on a mission, with a simple survey asking dog owners their views on her new concept. Soon building work was in progress to make way for The Doggy Drop Inn! Helen's vision was soon a reality.
Helen embarked on this mission as she believed that having a doggy daycare can really make a difference to a dog's life and also lift the guilt for people whose circumstances had changed, also helping to reduce the number of dogs being taken the pound or being rehomed!
By creating a loving enriched environment designed especially for dogs, we help improve the wellbeing of our dogs, which equals a guilt-free mum and dad resulting in happier humans, dogs and society!
Helen is a lifetime dog lover and owner, from her early days, always being found laid sleeping with the family German Shepherds and their litter of puppies! Helen has always had a passion for dogs and started volunteering at a rescue centre at just 15 years old. At 20 years old Helen changed her career to working in a Bank but the passion and dream of working and making a difference to dogs lives never left her and she returned to the industry 10 years later.
