Helen is a lifetime dog lover and owner, from her early days, always being found laid sleeping with the family German Shepherds and their litter of puppies! Helen has always had a passion for dogs and started volunteering at a rescue center at just 15 years old. At 20 years old Helen changed her career to work in a Bank but the passion and dream of working and making a difference to dogs lives never left her and she returned to the industry 10 years later.
Helen has always aspired to run her own business, she set up her own grooming salon Wagz Pet Boutique which was a tremendous success, 6 years later The Doggy Drop Inn was created and now in the making is Worksop Hydrotherapy Center, Helen's dream continues of being able to help rehabilitate and care for injured animals, dogs with medical conditions to help enrich their life and for dogs who have had surgery to help aid a speedy, strong full recovery!
Christine has always had a passion for dogs, Particularly German Shepherds. You will have seen Christine in our grooming salon before we opened the daycare, Christine being Christine just couldn't resist taking part and including herself in the doggy daycare team, she loves nothing more than a cuddle and walk out in the woodlands with her 4 legged fury's! Christine has been with us since the day we opened, over 9 years ago, starting off as a groomers assistant whilst continuing her studies in Animal Management and Dog Grooming.
Christine embarked on her professional journey working with animals a little later in life, after running her businesses Christine focused on her passion of dogs and enrolled on an Animal Management course where she received a Diploma Level 3, Level 3 City and Guilds Dog Grooming and also her International professional Groomers Certificate, so don't be surprised to see Christine in the daycare or our grooming salon!
